  • Table of International Call Sign Series (Appendix 42 to the RR)
    • The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) hosts a webpage serving as the official Table of International Call Sign Series, as defined in Appendix 42 of the Radio Regulations. This page lists the alphanumeric prefixes allocated to countries and international organizations for identifying radio stations across various terrestrial services, including maritime, aeronautical, amateur, and fixed/mobile.

    • This site provides detailed information about amateur radio contests throughout the world, including their scheduled dates/times, rules summaries, log submission information and links to the official rules as published by the contest sponsors.
  • NCDXF/IARU International Beacon Project: Itinerario de Transmisión
    • The NCDXF, in cooperation with the IARU, constructed and operates a worldwide network of high-frequency radio beacons on 14.100, 18.110, 21.150, 24.930, and 28.200 megaHertz. These beacons help both amateur and commercial high-frequency radio users assess the current condition of the ionosphere. The entire system is designed, built and operated by volunteers at no cost except for the actual price of hardware components, shipping costs, and so on.

It provides a constantly updating list of spots, including frequency, mode, country, and operator details, with robust filtering options to help users chase specific, exotic stations. 
  • DX Cluster: DX Fun
    • DX Fun (dxfuncluster.com) is a popular, real-time amateur radio DX cluster website that aggregates reports of active long-distance (DX) stations. It serves as a tool for ham radio operators to find and track rare, distant, or exotic stations, showing call signs, frequencies, modes, and times.
  • Introducing EchoLink
    • EchoLink® software allows licensed Amateur Radio stations to communicate with one another over the Internet, using streaming-audio technology.  The program allows worldwide connections to be made between stations, or from computer to station, greatly enhancing Amateur Radio’s communications capabilities.  There are more than 350,000 validated users worldwide — in 159 of the world’s 193 nations — with about 6,000 online at any given time.

  • ARRL Logbook of the World (LoTW)
    • Logbook of The World® — LoTW® — is a web-accessed database and repository that enables you to submit electronic logs for amateur radio contacts (QSOs) and for confirmation (QSLs). Users can view submitted QSOs and resulting QSLs online. Radio amateurs can use LoTW to track their progress toward achievements and awards such as The ARRL Worked All States Award, and amateur radio’s premier award, DXCC®, membership in which is achieved by confirming on the air contacts with 100 countries.

    • Battery University™ is a free educational website offering hands-on battery information. The tutorials evaluate the advantages and limitations of diverse battery chemistries, advise on best choices, and suggest ways to extend life.
  • Parks on the Air
    • A site for international portable amateur radio operations that promote emergency awareness and communications from national/federal and state/provincial level parks.
  • Learn CW Online
    • This site, Learn CW Online (LCWO), was established in May 2008 by Fabian Kurz, DJ5CW (Impressumprofile), hoping to make learning and practicing CW (Morse code) as easy and effortless as possible. LCWO is under constant development; all comments and suggestions are welcome. Using LCWO is and will always remain free of cost.

    • DX-World.net is a leading, free, and frequently updated news website dedicated to amateur radio (Ham Radio) DXing and IOTA (Islands On The Air) enthusiasts. Established in 2007 by Col, MM0NDX, it serves as a central hub for information on upcoming and ongoing DXpeditions, rare station activities, and QSL information, providing daily updates for over 19 years.
  • YO3DAC – VA3IUL RF Technical Articles
    • YO3DAC – VA3IUL – Iulian Rosu, is a well-known RF engineer and hobbyist who maintains a popular repository of technical resources for RF circuit design, antennas, and ham radio projects. His site, qsl.net/va3iul, is highly regarded for its detailed notes on Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), Power Amplifiers (PAs), and mixers.
  • Space Weather Prediction Center (NOAA)
    • The official website for the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center, the nation’s primary source for real-time monitoring and forecasting of solar and geophysical events. It provides alerts, watches, and warnings on space weather—such as coronal mass ejections and geomagnetic storms—that can impact satellites, power grids, and GPS.

    • RadioReference.com is described as the world’s largest radio communications database and a leading community resource for enthusiasts and professionals. It offers detailed frequency listings, trunked radio system data, and links to live audio feeds via its partner site.
  • MUF Predictor
    • The MUF Predictor is a user-friendly tool for amateur radio operators and shortwave listeners to assess High Frequency (HF) propagation conditions. It helps determine the highest frequency that will reliably reflect off the ionosphere for long-distance communication.
  • RigReference.com
    • RigReference serves as an extensive online reference and community database focused on amateur radio equipment. It is dedicated specifically to ham radio gear.
  • Club Log: Amateur Radio League Tables and Most-Wanted Lists
    • Club Log is a web-based tool for amateur radio operators, or hams, used to manage and analyze their radio contact logs, particularly for DXing. It provides advanced tools, league tables, and a «Most Wanted» list for distant station communication.
  • ADIF2Cabrillo -> Online Amateur Radio Log Format Conversion Utility
    • ADIF2Cabrillo is a utility available on QSL.net designed for amateur radio operators to convert log files from the Amateur Data Interchange Format (ADIF) into the Cabrillo format. The Cabrillo format is typically required for submitting contest entries.
  • ARRL RF Exposure Calculator
    • The ARRL offers a free web-based RF Exposure Calculator to assist amateur radio operators in complying with FCC radiofrequency safety regulations. By 2026, all U.S. amateur stations must complete an RF exposure evaluation to ensure they meet Maximum Permissible Exposure limits.
